Boarding is most convenient via the starboard boarding step. High gunwales protect the walkways; there are two sliding pilothouse doors and one aft companionway door to the salon from the aft cockpit.
The salon has an L-shaped dinette with a folding table which is able to convert to a double sleeping berth and another settee to starboard. Both settees have storage behind and below the cushions with additional storage below the sole hatches. Blinds cover the windows for privacy. There is LED lighting throughout the boat.
Forward of the salon is the galley: a generous counter with a storage cupboard above and drawers below with a stainless sink facing the salon, the three burner Princess propane stove and oven is on the port wall with dinnerware and cutlery storage along the forward bulkhead. The under-counter NovaKool refrigerator and freezer are across from the galley just forward of the starboard settee.
The stairs to the pilothouse lift for access to the starboard side of the engine and the hot water tank.
The pilothouse includes a raised settee with a small table. Port and starboard sliding doors allow easy access to the full walk-around decks to manage lines, fenders or the anchor. The main helm is located on the starboard, the privacy hatch for the stateroom expands the space for charts and guide books and is a perfect spot for an iPad.
Forward of the pilothouse is the stateroom with a queen island walk around berth with storage below. The head compartment with a toilet, sink and storage is to starboard; the separate shower is port.

Commentaires du Broker
3 VIRTUAL TOURS - 1 VIDEO - 110 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS & BROKER'S COMMENTS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS 1995 TRANSPACIFIC EAGLE 40 TRAWLER.
The current owners have owned and loved this 1995 Transpacific Eagle 40 for 20 years. She has cruised extensively throughout British Columbia, Alaska, the Great Lakes, up and down the East Coast and to the Bahama’s; she has experience under her keel! When not cruising, she has been kept in private, single bay dry storage for the last nine years; her brightwork, gel coat and beautiful green awlgrip show the care.
This Eagle 40 has classic salty and understated charm, robust construction and a generous beam; the deep bow and full-length keel contribute to her stability and together creates a spacious and comfortable interior which, in my opinion, serves either a live-aboard or long-range cruising lifestyle. Even the detail of the deep fiddles along the counter tops and tables and the shelving system acknowledges the possibilities of cruising in big water.
She is a well-cared for beauty! If long range comfortable cruising is in your future you will not want to miss this opportunity!
