The much sought after Contessa 28 is well renowned for its' excellent upwind capability and ease of being sailed single handed. This particular boat was previously owned by John Leonard, writer for 'Practical Boat' magazine between 1988-1997, and came third overall in the Henry Lloyd Weymouth Regatta in 2007.
Credit must now be paid to her current owner who has restored and maintained this boat to a very high standard.
She is in excellent condition for her age, and no expense has been spared in upgrading and installing extras such as cabin heating, new gel batteries, a solar panel charging system, and new upholstery. The rigging and engine have been completely overhauled in recent years and the boat comes complete with many new sails as yet unused.
Well worth a viewing.
