Commentaires du Broker
Preliminary Details: awaiting confirmation by owner. This 1926 International Six Metre was subject to a major restoration in 1994 by the International Boat Building Training College at Lowestoft. 93 % of the original timers and fastenings were replaced. The hull is mahogany on laminated mahagony frames with copper fastenings and silicon bronze bolts. The lattice teak cockpit floorboard was not fitted when I photographed her. This is a stripped out racing yacht ready for competition in today’s classic’s circuit. Alternatively, she would make a wonderful day boat. The current gaff rig uses Douglas fir mast and spars. She would benefit from a new suit of sails as the current suit have seen better days. The coachroof requires varnishing.
