Spacious cockpit with ample seating and customized cushions with the boat's name embroidered on them. The companionway is very wide and the steps into the cabin have a gentle slope to them. This makes it very easy to enter the cabin with both arms full of groceries or gear! To starboard is the fully equipped U-shaped galley. It has a propane stove with two burners and oven, refrigerator, sink, built in microwave and lots of counter space. To port of the companionway steps is a chart table with chart storage. Aft of the chart table is a quarter berth that can also be used for storage for extra sails or gear. The saloon has two opposing couches - each of which may be large enough for someone to sleep on.. Between each couch is a custom made galley table with folding leafs. The owner has installed a flatscreen TV and a new stereo for entertainment. Forward of the saloon is the head compartment to port. It includes a recently rebuilt manual head with 10 gallon holding tank. The owner has had the plumbing lines and holding tank cleaned and scrubbed so there is no head odor. In the forepeak there is a very large V-berth with storage lockers and drawers beneath.
The main saloon is heated with a solid-fuel cabin heater.

Commentaires du Broker
This Islander 36 was repowered in 2008 with a 40HP Yanmar diesel which has only 150 hours. It has a nice interior layout with a large galley, two saloon sofas, forward and aft berths, and plenty of elbow room in between. With a new engine, new running rigging and a mainsail in nice condition, this Islander is ready to sail. The previous owner sailed it to Mexico and back - he praised its coastal cruising abilities and interior comfort. Overall the boat is in nice shape and is priced sell in today's market.
