Mast, Boom, Running Rigging and Standing RIgging were all renewed in 2011. The sails look clean too - they were laundered in 2011 and the sacrificial strip renewed. If you look at the video you will see the owners comments and more of the condition of the sails. New cruising chute and sail cover 2011.

Hull Finish - Copper Coat & Paint
She has a long keel with groundling plates so she will sit nice and flat on the ground. The coachroof and sidedecks have just been painted in a cream anti-slip finish. The cockpit is nice and deep and very large relatively speaking. The owner has had six people sitting down for dinner around the cockpit table. There is a proper cockpit tent as you will see from my photos. It is enclosed at the sides and has a door to get in as well. So it effectively makes for another room.

This Macwester Rowan 22 looks to be a good example of her kind. These are popular boats due to the excellent blend of traditional lines, large cockpit and great use of space below decks. There is a Macwester Owners Association too so that shows how popular they are and is a great source of information. This boat is ideal for both the seasoned sailor or those of you looking to ge into sailing on a good boat without breaking the bank. Do have a look at the video as the owner has provided some very useful information. It is also worth noting that she has a proper marine engine and marine gearbox and is aircooled. This should make this a very reliable engine.
