Originally sold as the Contessa 27, the moulds and design were purchased by MG Yachts and thereafter sold as the MGC27. A fast, small cruiser with an excellent reputation for sailing performance and handling, and which can easily be sailed by one person . This particular boat has the more sought after Northshore manufactured hull and comes with the benefit of a swing keel, allowing exploration of the more tidal rivers and estuaries.
The boat has been well maintained and is generally in very good condition. The engine was rebuilt in 2010 and at the same time the sail drive seal was replaced. Both the standing and running rigging were replaced in 2008, and all the sails have been replaced over the past 4 years.
