Sadler 34 SE

Located under companionway, Volvo 2003 28hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller. QL calorifier (water heater) fitted with immersion coil. Engine has been winterised annually, regularly serviced and had a new starter motor and sea water pump installed in 2010.
3 x 12v Vetus domestic gel batteries under quarter berth and 1 x 12v engine battery in stern cockpit locker all charged via engine alternator. Shore power system with 2 x (UK 3 pin) sockets, Master Volt battery charger (new 2009) and hot water immersion coil. Full 12v interior cabin lighting, upgraded throughout.

Masthead rigged bermudan sloop. Selden silver anodised mast with Fredriksen ball bearing sail slide system in track on back of mast (new 2001) and Kemp boom . Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Spinnaker gear with sheet winches, cleats, uphaul, downhaul, spinnaker pole and pole attachment fittings. Furlex Genoa Type B Mark II furling and reefing system with double groove. Double fairlead genoa cars. Kemp Strut kicker. Additional removable inner forestay. All sail controls led aft to cockpit with 10 clutches, 5 jammers and 3 cleats on coachroof. 2 x Lewmar halyard winches on coachroof 2 x Lewmar genoa sheet winches in cockpit. 2 x Lewmar spinnaker sheet winches in cockpit 1 x Lewmar reefing winch on mast.

Built by Sadler to a Martin Sadler design. Double skin 'unsinkable' construction (provides improved insulation, sound proofing etc.) GRP hull, teak side-decks, toe rail, cockpit seats and cockpit grating. Cast iron fin keel with bulb. (Draft: 4' 6") Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit. Lockable large stern cockpit locker containing additional battery. Stowage for gas cylinders. Lockable deep port side locker stowage. Combing stowage space on both sides

Standard layout with 6/7 berths in 3 cabins with approx. 5'11" headroom. Wood interior throughout. Pressurised hot and cold water (new pump 2006) large freshwater tank (beneath starboard seating). Cabin is fitted with comfortable dark green draylon button back upholstery, there are lots of grab-handles and additional strops in galley and navigation areas, additional stowage space inboard with hanging nets and book rack space and the lighting has been upgraded throughout.
Forecabin: This is accessed via a double folding door for added privacy and has a “V” berth with infill to create a double. Large storage areas beneath the berth and netted storage in addition to spacious shelving all around. New halogen lights.
Heads: Newly refurbished wall surfaces, new Jabsco marine toilet, basin with hot and cold water supply and shower head attachment, electric shower pump out, toilet roll holder, towel hooks, vent.
Hanging Lockers: Two very dry and spacious hanging lockers to starboard
Saloon: U-shaped seating area to port -can convert to form a double berth, central table with folding leaves, bottle stowage and fiddles, settee berth to starboard. Fold down additional pilot berth port side. Storage behind and beneath seating with further lockers above. Wooden glass holder rack. reading lights on bulkhead
Galley: Aft to port and equipped with gimballed Plastimo 2000 gas cooker with 2-burners, oven and grill (new 2003), twin stainless steel sinks with hot/cold water supply (new tap and pipe fittings 2002), replaceable under-sink water filter and salt water tap, 12v built in fridge, separate deep cool box. Deep and spacious rubbish container. Smoked Perspex covered deep storage and shelving for cutlery and food items, kitchen roll holder and spice rack.
Aft Cabin: Separate aft cabin berth with door for privacy and opening window into cockpit - acts as a double or spacious single. Storage beneath berth, closing cupboards, shelving and netted storage, vanity mirror and folding shelf.
Nav area: seat with cushion and underneath locker/Winch handle storage. Nav table with ample space for charts etc. Side stowage space.
