This is a lot of boat for the asking price, in good order throughout, she is well equipped with modern navigation aids including two chart plotters, echo pilot, log. autopilot and wind instruments.
This Seal 28 for sale with Boatshed Port Solent has a long list of new gear including a 2009 genoa & furling system, 2009 spray hood, new cockpit cushions, new stanchions, new batteries and new VHF. The engine, a 21 hp Nanni diesel was new in 2007 and has only 219 hours. I think the mainsail is getting a bit long in the tooth, but its probably got a few years in it yet.
This yacht has a separate double berth in the stern cabin, twin bunks or a double in the forward cabin and still has room for a double in the saloon, thanks to the owners skilful modifications.
I like the deep and secure cockpit (cracking sprayhood), I like the headroom in the saloon, I like the roomy and safe side-decks, this would make a great family cruiser.
She is afloat on a swinging mooring, so it would be advisable to let me have a couple of days notice for viewing, we need to organise tides and the owners!
